| We exceeded our goals again and then some with many proud moments for our attending teams. White Varsity received the highest honor of NATIONAL CHAMPIONS after placing 1st both days of competition and beating their competition hands down. Fusion's two PeeWee teams never let the huge stage, hundreds of people or flashing lights phase them with two days of amazing performances! | ||||

| We proved ourselves worthy to compete with some of the best teams in the South during this Nationals Competition with outstanding team, individual and stunt performances. Sure it stinks that the interpretation of the USASF rules for this judging panel resulted in both teams getting a 35 point deduction for something they have been doing all year without deductions. Sure that deduction solidifies the need for true standardization across all states. But none of that can take away the fact that our Midwest teams impressed those Southern teams, beat those Southern teams and will be back again to take that National title away from those Southern teams! Now we know without question just how close our National Title is and it will drive us, fuel us and push us farther then we've ever gone before. Look out 2006/2007 season . . . we're coming back bigger, better and on top! | ||||

| Hard work and dedication really paid off at this competition with our two attending teams taking 1st place and exceeding their overall score goals by a landslide! All stunts went up solid and for the first time, PeeWee hit every single twist-straddle stunt without even a bobble! The crowd went wild not only for the success of those stunts but the showmanship of the Varsity team as well. In just a few short months, our White teams have accomplished greatness! Way to go! | ||||

| First, we want to thank Dave Sewell for going the extra mile to fit as many teams as possible into this competition. Second, we have to thank our Blue Varsity team for overcoming a last minute routine change after one of our girls were unable to make it to the competition that morning. And a special thank you to Caroline for stepping up to the plate in her first ever Blue Varsity performance as a team alternate. As always, our teams and coaches pulled together and put on a great show. Jr. Varsity again wowed the judges with a 1st place routine and our new to the scene, White teams made us all proud. And of course, Silver PeeWee won the hearts of everyone. Way to go Fusion for another showing of true Fusion Spirit! | ||||

| Today was the first competition of our new White teams and they really put on a great show! Not only did our White teams score high enough to win a Bid to Nationals but they performed in the true Fusion spirit . . . with "Pure Energy". Our Blue Varsity team was awarded the highest honor of Grand Champions for scoring highest across all teams in all divisions. Blue Jr. Varsity also put on a flawless routine that placed them 1st of 3 teams with every single stunt going up "ROCK SOLID". And our future Varsity cheerleaders from our PeeWee teams won the crowd over with their unbelievable skills at such a young age. We are all so proud of each and every one of you for your dedication and hard work. | ||||

| WOW! Cheer Fusion "rocked" this competition! Our very own Fusion Dad, Mr. Hayden, won the Dad's Dance and Limbo Contest. He very graciously donated his winning prize of a $25.00 Lowes Gift Certificate back to the academy. Thanks Mr. Hayden, we are going to purchase new shelves to hold more of our winning trophies. Not only did many of our Dad's participate in the Dance and Limbo Contest, but our entire group of parents, friends, family members and team cheerleaders won the "Bling" Spirit Award which awarded our academy FREE makeup and a HUGE Spirit Award Trophy. If that wasn't enough "pure energy" for one day, our teams put on one of their best performances we've ever seen! True, Silver PeeWee's missed 1st place by a mere 1.50 points; but it didn't matter because we all pulled together to solidify on this day that we are one . . . a Fusion of talent and family! | ||||

| This competition really tested our teams will to win with an unexpected injury during warm-ups that effected both the Varsity and Jr. Varsity's ability to perform their routine. With only 30 minutes to re-work two routines or drop from the competition, both teams showed their true Fusion spirit by pulling together and performing. Special thanks to Brittany Birch for stepping in as an alternate so the JV team could perform - we love you Britt! In addition to the challenges that our older teams faced, our PeeWee team competed in a level 2 (level 1 not offered) and still did very well with their overall score. We are all so proud of you! | ||||
