Blue Teams are categorized by the following:

"Blue" Teams have a more advanced skill level
requirement |
Blue teams have a 10 month season that begins
in May and ends the following year in March or April (depending on the
final competition date). All Blue team members attend 8 to 10
competitions and travel to an out-of-state National Championship
competition.
Blue teams require a major
commitment from the cheerleader and their families. The "love the
sport" cheerleader who is 100% committed is the ideal candidate for the
Blue teams.
