Fall teams
have a 6 month season that begins
in November and ends the following year in March or April (depending on the
final competition date). All Fall team members attend 3 to 4
competitions and may not attend a National Championship competition.
The attendance of a National Championship competition will depend on the
individual team but if attending, will be in-state (local) only.
Fall teams are a great alternative
to a highly committed 10 month "Full Season" team and give all cheerleaders an
opportunity to experience Allstar Cheerleading on a smaller scale.
Plus, the shortened season means reduced tuition fees making
this option ideal for any budget.
Evaluation Dates: All
cheerleaders are placed on a Fall Team based on the USASF Age Divisions.
Our Fall Season program allows everyone placement on a team, we don't
"cut" anyone. To join a Fall Season Team, cheerleaders must attend one
of our scheduled evaluation dates. Evaluation dates for Fall
Season teams are posted on our
Join a Team page in September, with
evaluations taking place in October and practice starting in
November. During the evaluations, we will hold a Parent
Information meeting that details our program, pricing, next steps and
more.
Practice Schedule: All Fall teams practice 2
days a week. Practice begins the first week of November and will
continue through March or April of the following year (depending on the
last competition date). Practice dates for each team are
communicated after the last evaluation date and we are able to determine
the number of teams we will have for the season.
Competitions: The Fall teams will compete at a
minimum 3 competitions against other Allstar Cheer programs. These
competitions are within driving distance (no airfare needed).
Their first competition is likely February and last in late March or
early April. A detailed competition schedule is provided to all
team members. To get an idea of the competitions we have attended
in the past (though these may change from season to season), visit our
Awards page. During their practices they will learn their
competition routine. The routine is 2:30 long and includes all
elements of Allstar cheer (dance, stunt, pyramid, tumble, motion
sequence). When the teams compete, they are judged on these
elements and awarded a placement based on our scores versus other teams
scores. Teams compete against others in the same Age and
difficulty level.
